Every time I start a project I ask myself what I want to feel or experience when I look back to it. This time i wanted to capture the small adjustments you make in the dance and how that feeling is captivated though the dance combined with the lens of the camera.

I have always been inspired by the emotions that is in the dance and how much you can express yourself by the small movements in the body.
In this project specifically I was drawn to those in-between moments, the breaths between the big shapes. The quiet intensity when a gesture hasn’t fully bloomed yet, but the emotion is already there.
I wanted to freeze that fraction of a second where strength and vulnerability overlap, where control meets freedom.
