In this photo post, I wanted to explore the feeling of distance and silence. The three photographs were taken by a misty lake, where the landscape almost disappears into a soft grey-white stillness. Only a small part of a house and a single cell tower break the horizon subtle hints of human presence in an otherwise empty scene.
I was drawn to how the fog hides more than it reveals, and how the minimalist approach enhances the sense of solitude and reflection. These are images that speak more about what isn’t visible than what is.
